Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.
Hours are published for 2 days a week. Typical hours are 11 AMβ9 PM. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (518) 272-0036. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, facebook.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 1,454 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Troy and suggests consistent service.
Troy is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Troy is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

It is absolutely beautiful inside! Thereβs a ton of beautiful woodwork and the decor is so stunning. This was the first time my husband and I have been here. We ordered a pina colada cocktail that was so delicious we ordered another. We also got the pineapple paradise which was also really good. They provide little crackers and mustard/duck sauce for dipping. They also have complimentary tea which was really good and refreshing. For appetizers we got the pork and shrimp shumai and it was incredibly flavorful (you get 4 pieces but we had already ate two before we took the pic) we also got the short ribs which were so tender and flavorful. We got a bowl of wanton soup which was my absolute favorite version Iβve ever had. Itβs got tender pieces of pork in it and the broth was very flavorful. For mains my husband got the beef and broccoli with pork fried rice. It was delicious. I got the Bangkok shrimp fried rice and it was so unique. The curry flavor was great and unexpected. Large portions and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. The prices are extremely reasonable. The bill was only $85 so we left $105. We will absolutely be back.

The Kung pao chicken was okay, there was less meat and it wasnβt spicy as it was supposed to. The pork noodles was good. The waiting time for food was long like 50 mins even though we got a table soon.

Recommended as a must try spot by a local friend. The restaurant looks like a palace with many intricate details in architecture and a feeling of peace as you dine. Large menu lots of options. I ordered boneless ribs and general tso. Everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely some of the best American Chinese food outside of San Francisco/NYC. Highly recommend!!

The family went here after an afternoon RPI hockey game on Saturday. Arrived about 5:30 PM and had no wait for seating 5 people. The food was excellent. I had the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce combination plate which came with an egg roll, fried rice, shrimp and sauce. It was delicious. Wife had the General Tso's Chicken combination plate which she raved about. Everyone else (daughter and grandkids) thought the food was great. Service was superb. Small appetizer and tea came quickly. Ordered drinks meal which arrived and everyone's person's entre arrived at the same time. The waiter remembered who ordered what and place the meals in front of the correct person. Atmosphere and decorations are enchanting and give you the feeling your in an authentic Chinese restaurant.

This was the best meal we've had in so long. Everything was screaming hot and so fresh. Not greasy at all and the chicken had a light breading while being perfectly crispy on the outside and so tender and light inside. The dumplings we got as an appetizer were the perfect combination of fluffy and soft outside with an awesome crisp on one side. The meat was so tender and flavorful. I would give this place 100 stars if I could. The portions were so generous and filling with totally reasonable prices. We got an order of dumplings (5), two chicken combination dinners (which came with a big bowl of amazing soup), and hot tea and it was only $47! (And I have enough left over for lunch tomorrow) We will definitely be coming back in the near future and recommend this place to everyone!!
